Our good friend Ken Weinling lives in the London Borough of Hillingdon, where for or many years he has worked hard to raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind, as well as running a local support group. Apart from all that, he likes to support local good causes. He does so by giving talks about life with his guide dogs and through fundraising with his friends.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE KEN TO TALK TO YOUR GROUP, PLEASE CONTACT US.
In 2005 a group of Ken's friends got together and held a Christmas bazaar, in order to raise funds for a computer to help Ken carry on with his good work.
Since then we have been meeting regularly. Together with Ken, we choose a different local charity to support each year, as well as Guide Dogs. All our donations to Guide Dogs go through the Bob and Betty Hutchinson Tribute Fund and allow us to sponsor puppies.
So far we have been able to sponsor three pups. To find out more about them go to Meet our Pups.
Here are some of the organisations we have supported . . .
We have also supported ORCHYD, Acorn Youth Club, and two local scout groups. In 2017 we raised funds for Turtles Swimming Club
